Learning among Regional Governments

The six English contributions record the concepts of the international cooperation between the regional government within the European area, which the EU subsidises within the scope of Prevalet, and documents the resulting development of a system to support and accelerate the learning and innovation transfer between the European areas. The web-based support network soft open method of coordination (SMOC) developed in this context shall facilitate the cooperation between the regional governments regarding continuous professional development issues and is available to all institutions interested in continuous professional development as a platform for information and exchange. The additional volume 'Tools for Policy Learning and Policy Transfer' (978-3-7639-3580-2) includes the empirical material, the methodical execution and the presentation of the support system as it has been developed.
