THE CALLING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

 A REASON AND A SEASON:   At times, the Holy Spirit comes upon you for a reason and a season, anointing you with boldness for dominion and authority. This dimension of the anointing releases the gift of faith and brings you into a realm of the Holy Spirit's anointing, which is awesome and powerful.   The Holy Spirit that I have come to know is the one who turned ordinary people into spiritual giants, people who subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness and obtained promises. These anointed people escaped the sword and turned the enemies of God to flight (Hebrew 11:33-34).   The Holy Spirit is the same Spirit who anointed a shepherd boy named David and caused him to slay a lion, a bear and a giant named Goliath (1Samuel 17). He's the same Spirit who gave Elijah the power to out - run the chariot of Ahab (1kings18: 46). He's the same Spirit who gave Apostle Paul the strength to preach after he had been stoned and left thinking that he was dead. (Act14: 19-28). The same resurrection power that raised Christ from the dead "shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you" (Romans 8:11).
