The maintenance of machinery and equipment is a demanding part of industrial and technical vocational training and further education programmes. With respect to this topic, volume 25 examines teaching approaches which allow educators to shape vocational lessons related to "Work and Technology" in practical and process-oriented ways in accordance with article 3 of the training regulations. In doing so, the described procedures make use of different media and serve as a directive for maximum self-guidance and coordination. The procedures are primarily designed for industrial and technical schools. However, they may also be applied in the context of company-internal training and further education.
